Teddy Afro becomes a father
Tewodros Kassahun and Amleset Muchie have welcomed their first
child today. The couple who was wed on September 27th 2012 are now
parents to a baby boy. The newly parents have named their child
"Michael".

ሀና ግርማን ብዙዎች በኢትዮጵያ አይይል ውድድር ላይ ተመልክታችኋታል። በተለይ በልዩ የኦፔራ መዚቃ ተሰጥዎዋ ተደናቂነት ያተረፈችው አዳጊ ወጣት ሰሞኑን ሁለት ነጠላ ዘፈኖች አውጥታለች።
ሃና ሙዚቃውን እንዴት ተጫወተችው? የዚህን ሙዚቃ ዜማና ሙዚቃ ያቀናበረው እንዲሁም ሃናን የሚያሰለጥናት
ቴድሮስ መኮንን( ቴዲ ማክ) መልስ ሰጥቶናል። እንዲሁም ሃና የኦፔራ ዘፈን እንድትዘፍን ያበረታታኝ ወንድሜ ነው
ትላለች። ወንድሟ ታደሰ ግርማ ይባላል። በሙዚቃም ብቻ ሳይሆን በትምህርቷም እንድትበረታታ ይረዳታል።
ልጆች በልጅነት እድሜያቸው ታዋቂ ሲሆኑ አብዛኛውን ጊዜ የልጅነት ጊዜያቸውን በቅጡ አጣጥመው እንዳያድጉ የሚያደርገው የራሱ ሚና አለውና ከዚህስ አንፃር በቤተሰብ በኩል ምን አይነት ድጋፍ ሃና ታገኛለች? ሃና ብዙ አድናቂዎች አፍርታለች። ለነሱም መልዕክት አስተላልፋለች።
ስለሙዚቃ ስራዎቿ እና በህይወቷ ላይ ስለገጠማት ለውጥ ዛሬ በወጣቶች መድረክ የምንዳስሰው ይሆናል።

Hawassa TeddyAfro’s concert breaks record
The show at Hawassa stadium on
Saturday was one of the most amazing events the city has ever seen. It was a
concert attended by a very big audience in Hawassa for the first time. The
concert lasted up untill midnight with the artist perfoming over 17 songs.
Aside from Teddy’s energetic
performance, the show was such a success because of the competence of Belema
Entertainment (the organizer of the concert), the cooperation of the Hawassa
police (both the regional and city police) and the assistance of the mayor
office of the Hawassa Administration. The sponsors of the show, Meta beer and
Haile Resort also took part in making this event a success. Moges (Yegna Press)
was the photographer which took the beautiful photos.
The show started by playing his
famous song ‘Oh Africa’ with Abugida band. The crowd went crazy when Teddy
perfomed “Girmawineto” and “Abeba’ayeh wey”.
After many songs Teddy introduced
his brand new single “Olan Yizo”, Ola mean God (Fetari).
The show comes down to a close with the last song of the night being “Tiqur Sew”.

Teddy will perform in different
parts of Ethiopia once he comes back from his tour in the United States which
will kick off on Thanksgiving eve in Atlanta!

Teddy Afro to blast Hawassa
Hawassa is
the next stop for Teddy Afro as part of his "wede fikir" world tour
concert. Mark your calendars as it will be a three day extravaganza with a pre
party taking place at Haile resorts for fans coming from Addis and cities near
Hawassa on Friday. The music legend that knows how to wow a crowd will be
performing with Abugida band at Hawassa stadium on Tikimit 24. Tickets for this
big show willl be on sale starting from Monday with 120 birr for normal tickets
and 250 for VIP.

Abro Abed
“Abro
Abed” is a film released on Monday October 8 2012. The film revolves around the
story of a young woman who is mentally unstable and who meets a man she gets
obsessed with. The young man goes out of his way and into a lot of hustle to
help the woman with her mental situation and living condition.
The film touches the really big issues of mental illness in the Ethiopian public. There are over 400 patients that are admitted to Amanuel Hospital which is the only government hospital that specializes in the area of mental illness, every month. Studies also show that many people with the illness will not get the proper help because of lack of community awareness. It shows how people don’t yet understand the illness and how people with the illness are still looked down on.
The film was made by TD Film Production, written by Tewodros Fekadu and produced by Tesfaye Kinfe. Abro Abed has actors such as Mahelet Sumetea, Mogues Chekol and Joseph Daniel participating. The film took six months and 460,000 birr to produce.
